He is social scientist and international consultant on business management, education, global governance and sustainable development. His most recent work includes two projects for the UN. Global Leadership in the 21st Century, a study on catalytic strategies to address the challenges to multilateralism and sustainable development, in collaboration with 70 partner organizations, and a global survey on Human Security coverings UN agencies, national governments, science academies, universities, parliamentarians, and civil society organizations. He is currently organizing the fifth in a series of international conferences on Global Leadership Challenge in Higher Education for Effective Multilateralism & Sustainable Human Security.
