Senior Director of the Bay Area Council Economic Institute

Member of the District of Columbia Bar Association, the Council on foreign relations and the Pacific Commission on international policy, and serves as a consultant on the Advisory Committee of the Pacific Rim center of the University of San Francisco and the Chairman’s Advisory Committee of Excelsior College in New York. he has held positions in government departments such as the US Congress, the White House and the State Council. He successively served as an official in charge of Asian policy, a special adviser to the Department of East Asian and Pacific Affairs and an itinerant ambassador for Pacific Basin affairs in the State Council. He served as deputy secretary-general for international energy affairs, responsible for managing nuclear non-proliferation, energy research and global oil and gas issues.
