The second planet of the 23 million-year-old painted frame beta "appears"

According to a recent report by the Physicist Organization Network, the researchers discovered a second planet that runs around Beta Pictoris, helping astronomers gain a deeper understanding of the planet system being formed.

The latest research author, the French National Science Center astronomer Anne-Marie Lagrange, said: "This is a giant planet with a mass of 3,000 times the mass of the Earth. It is 2.7 times the distance between the Earth and the Sun. ""

The new planet is called "Picture Block βc" (βPictoris c) with a revolution period of 1200 days. Like its "sister" framed by βb (βPictoris b), they are all gaseous giant planets. The picture frame βb was discovered by Lagrange and her team in 2009.

The frame is visible to the naked eye and is almost twice the mass of the sun. If the 45-year-old sun is an old man, then only 23 million years old painted frame β is a newborn baby.

The frame is located a little more than 63 light years from the Earth and is surrounded by a stardust disk. Since this rotating halo consisting of debris and gas was the first such structure to be captured, in the 1980s, the frame of the frame was discovered as a "star."

Lagrange said: "In order to better understand the early stages of planetary formation and evolution, this may be the best planetary system we have known so far."

Observations show that the two planets are still forming. Scientists have discovered the frame holder βc by analyzing the high-resolution data collected during the 10 years of the La Silla Observatory in Chile. The La Silla Observatory is operated by the European Southern Observatory.

In 2014, scientists said that the frame holder βb rotates at a high speed of 25 km/s. The picture frame seat β is located in the south of the constellation of the picture frame and is the second brightest star in the constellation.
