Tumor biologist, chief physician, Yangtze River scholar professor and also a doctoral supervisor. As the first accomplisher, Prof.Wang has been granted with the prize of Innovation Team of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, the medal of National Innovation Prize and WU JIEPING Medical Prize. Prof. Wang has been engaged in basic and clinical research of liver cancer, making great contributions to deciphering cancer transformation from inflammation, the regulation of tumor signal networks and the development of novel strategy for the diagnosis and treatment of liver cancer.
