Prof. Shang, laboratory medicine and AIDS prevention & treatment scientist, is also the vice chairman of Chinese Medical Association and the vice president of Chinese Association of STD and AIDS Prevention and Control. She has long been engaged in the research of HIV key laboratory areas and clinical laboratory standardization. She has made a series of research achievements in HIV reservoir testing technology, new markers of AIDS progress, identification and transmission law of new HIV recombinant strains in China, and establishment of reference intervals for Chinese adult.
