James J. Heckman
Nobel Laureate in Economics, Professor of Economics and Laws at Chicago University, Fellowr of the National Academy of Sciences, Corresponding Fellow of the Brazilian Academy of Sciences
He is the Henry Schultz Distinguished Service Professor in Economics at Chicago University, director of the Center for the Economics of Human Development, co-director of Human Capital and Economic Opportunity Global Working Group. In 2000, Heckman shared the Nobel Prize in Economics for his work on the micro econometrics of diversity and heterogeneity and for establishing a sound causal basis for public policy evaluation.
