Prof. Liang Song is currently with Fudan University, with numerous distinguished and adjunct appointments, e.g., Vice Chairman of Institute on Networking Systems of AI, Professor of the University of Toronto (Canada), Chief Expert of Shanghai Industrial Technology Institute, Chairman of Shanghai 5G-VR Alliance, among others. He also sits in board of numerous high technology companies in his areas. He is a Fellow of Chinese National Distinguished Experts. Among his leaderships, Prof. Song’s technical contributions converge communication networks and AI systems. Due to his contributions in both L2 cognitive multi-hop wireless networks and distributed AI, large-scale and ubiquitous smart infrastructure can be possible, by interconnecting smart terminals with data sensing, wireless communications, and processing.
